The HPA Health Group enthusiastically participated in the 24th edition of the MamaMaratona, which took place on October 20th, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, along the Passeio das Dunas, between Quarteira and Vilamoura.
This event, organised by the Oncology Association of the Algarve, was part of the Pink October movement. Its main objective was to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention, promote the adoption of healthy lifestyles, and raise funds to support cancer patients and their families.
With around 3,500 participants, the event was a success. The HPA Health Group took part in the 5/7 km Walk/Run with a team of supportive employees.
We would also like to congratulate the HPA Health Group's medal-winning participants, Dr. Magda Cordeiro, who secured 3rd place in the Veterans II - Female category, and Dr. Inês Serras, who earned 2nd place in the Veterans I – Female category.
The participation and energy of those involved reflected the importance of this cause, which goes beyond mere physical exercise, symbolising a walk of support, prevention, and hope for all those battling breast cancer.
The HPA Health Group thanks all employees and the community for their participation and involvement, reaffirming its commitment to staying supportive and available to assist in events that promote the health and well-being of the population.
